Disaster Medical Response Systems is a non profit organization that deploys medical teams to areas affected by disasters. Our goal is to provide a high level of care to survivors of disasters immediately following their impact. We provide customized event support that includes BLS (Basic Life Support) as well as ALS (Advanced Life Support) response that can integrate with the local EMS systems. Our staff come from various medical/emergency roles with experience in Emergency Medicine, the National Incident Management System, Mass Casualty incidents, Emergency communication, and disaster response.Having worked in both emergent and non-emergent Emergency Medical Systems as an EMT and a Paramedic Daniel has become familiar with all aspects of pre hospital care. Daniel loves working on an ambulance has expanded that experience into more specialized areas such as emergency management and disaster medicine. As a member of one of Florida's State Medical Response Teams Daniel served as the Deputy Logistics Chief. In that role he put together a working group that dealt with the medical cache. Daniel modularized the deployment packages so they can be deployed, establish operations, and rehab the medical equipment in the most efficient way possible. Daniel also assisted with the development and delivery of training programs within the team.Daniel's main goals at this time are to continue to manage the growth of a DMRS. Under his leadership DMRS has expanded it's event medical capability and provides increasing support to it's community. DMRS has also implemented a plan to expand its role in search and rescue and is training a live find K9. Adding this asset to the teams role will allow the medical teams to help located any missing persons following a disaster.
