Actuaris Actuarial Reporting
In deze positie heb ik bijgedragen aan het opstellen van de maand-, kwartaal- en halfjaar-rapportages voor het zakelijke schade deel van Achmea Verzekeringen. Naast de geplande rapportages droeg ik bij aan de data conversies tussen systemen. Daarnaast heb ik ook datagedreven onderzoek gedaan met het doel van procesverbetering en verklaring van portefeuille effecten. Tijdens deze opdracht heb ik autodidact SAS geleerd te gebruiken.

Voor ASR ben ik het project rondom de bouw van de rekentool voor IFRS17 en Solvency2 verantwoordelijk geweest voor het updaten en verbeteren van de schaduw rekentool voor AOV verzekeringen en de rapportage van AOC getallen op een AOV portefeuille tbv IFRS17 en S2 rapportages. Ik heb hiervoor vooral de gestelde data- en functie requirements vertaald naar functionaliteit binnen fucntionele Excel constructies en VBA.

Additional responsibilities include spotting opportunities for additional work for a project: either through inconsistencies in the project itself or through developments on site. This required me to connect to customers to get a sense of their needs, to generate a technical solution and to have those two aspects meet in the form of a sales proposal. In this function I learned to quickly interpret and analyse technical problems to create solutions that would benefit both client and company. Doing so has taught me to quickly spot opportunities for technical solutions. Added to that I learned to work with a budget and planning balancing budget, planning and client needs to make sure projects were completed in time while keeping resources to a low. To save resources I have employed Python to generate a script that would automate tasks for service engineers so they could focus their efforts on creating software and installing it rather then manually editing lists in Excel.
