Breach Collective partners with communities on the front lines of the climate crisis to advance justice through locally-driven campaigns rooted in the power of grassroots organizing, legal advocacy, and human stories.

Elected Chair of the Board of Directors. Convene and coordinate the 20-person Board of the Directors for network of over 100 organizations. Drive Board discussion of strategy and organizational development and support the Executive Director in fundraising and management of staff along with crisis management and fiduciary responsibilities. Contributed substantially to development of new strategic plan for the organization and network.

Working on a new project alongside the Global Strategic Communications Council (GSCC), seeking to ensure the great work, gaps, and opportunities in strategic communications in the global climate movement are known and supported by the philanthropic community.

Working on campaigns to keep fossil fuels in the ground by ending fossil fuel subsidies, combating the toxic influence of Big Oil on our politics, stopping new infrastructure, and promoting a managed decline of fossil fuel production within climate limits. I lead our communications efforts to ensure OCI's critical research and analysis is understood and reaches the right audiences, and provide guidance on OCI's overall strategy to ensure we achieve our campaign goals.

I led our campaign strategy to ensure OCI's critical research and analysis is leveraged to enact the change necessary to keep fossil fuels in the ground.

With other members of the Board, provide strategic guidance, fiduciary responsibility, and contribute to fundraising and outreach efforts for volunteer-led organization focused on promoting youth involvement in international sustainable development negotiations and intergovernmental institutions.

Served as chief officer for the Secretariat of the world’s largest international network of NGOs focused on climate change. Responsible for fundraising, administrative management, hiring and staff management, outreach to existing and new members and strategic planning. Provided strategic guidance, facilitation, dispute resolution and leadership for the Network. Oversaw annual budget of over $1 million, successfully raising roughly $3 million in 3 years, including from new foundation donors. Served as liaison to international Board of Directors. Built Secretariat team from 1.5 full time equivalent employees up to more than ten employees at the height of the international negotiations. Conceived, fundraised for, and planned the first Network-wide strategic planning retreat. Coordinated the Network’s advocacy and communications in person at roughly 25 UNFCCC negotiation sessions.

Coordinated communications efforts for network of 75 organizations at international negotiations and in domestic contexts around key climate-related events. Managed and developed internal network communications, including various online tools. Served as lone full-time staff person during transition between Directors, ensuring key activities and responsibilities were maintained. Organized major conferences for state-level members of the Network, contributing to agenda formulation, outreach to participants, and logistics. Contributed extensively to strategic planning, policy development and coordination. Coordinated US NGO participation in international climate negotiations.

Served on Secretariat of two international networks with representation in over 40 countries focused on transparency in environmental decision-making. Represented networks at international conferences. Organized meetings and developed outreach strategy events. Led coordination of partner subgrant finances, planning and fundraising for US activities. Maintained websites and listserves. Produced outreach materials. Supervised interns. Assisted in managing $1.2 million annual budget.

Lone overnight weather observer on duty at the Observatory, completing hourly weather observations and reporting to the National Weather Service. Produced short weather updates for the local NPR station as well as blog updates for the MWO website. Conducted basic climatological research.
