As a consumer reporting agency, Accurate operates in a highly regulated industry requiring a focus on regulatory compliance.I served as a member of the executive leadership team charged with leading the organization through a period of exceptional growth and change, while also facing unprecedented economic headwinds and a global pandemic. I also served as a trusted advisor to the Board of Managers and acted as the Secretary throughout my tenure. I played a key role in three separate acquisitions that have been critical to Accurate's growth and overall positioning within the industry. I have acted as the legal advisor in a variety of areas, including vendor and customer contract drafting and negotiation, M&A transactions, corporate restructurings, financings, executive leadership transitions, global expansion, employment law, real estate, litigation management, risk management and insurance, cybersecurity, privacy and data protection and corporate governance.

I was an attorney in the corporate department of Latham & Watkins both in the Orange County and Los Angeles Offices. My practice focused on M&A and capital markets transactions for a diverse client base of both public and private clients. I advised numerous public companies across various industries, including medical device, life sciences, retail, consumer brands, technology, entertainment and REITs on a legal matters, including with respect to corporate governance and disclosure obligations under federal securities laws.I have significant experience with cross-border M&A transactions and have led numerous carve-out acquisitions and dispositions. I also served on the firm’s ethics committee for several years, providing advice and counsel to the firm and its attorneys with respect to complying with their legal ethics.

I was a co-founder and general counsel for Fuse Mobile, a private company funded by a large NY based hedge fund. Fuse Mobile was an independent retail wireless company selling wireless products for a national wireless provider. While at Fuse Mobile I was responsible for all legal matters, including M&A, real estate, employment, private placements, corporate governance and contracts. I also oversaw the site selection and buildout of 48 retail locations in 5 states in just under 18 months.
