My initial mandate was to spearhead R&D initiatives in membrane-based water and blood filtration. This encompassed not only formulating new recipes at the laboratory scale but also facilitating technology transfer to industrial-scale production.Over time, my responsibilities expanded, culminating in my current position as Head of R&D. Leading our team, we focus on developing dialysis-related medical products and refining their manufacturing processes. Owing to this opportunity, I spent 4 months at the University of Twente and worked with another Ph.D. researcher of BioArt Project.The objective of this exchange was to merge our previous achievements to get a full-rounded study of the newly developed membranes for blood purification. Despite the short duration of my stay, we managed to perform a pretty sizeable piece of research.Key achievement:♦ Gained hands-on experience in the double-layer hollow fiber membrane fabrication and various fiber characterization techniques. ♦ Published a joint paper in a peer-reviewed journal. -
