I have more than 25 years’ experience in IT. During this time, I have worked many roles: support, systems and network administrator, troubleshooter, consultant, technical sales, delivery manager, and team manager. I have lead various sized teams, including those composed of employees, clients, and subcontractors to deliver projects across many industries. I have done this in most of the business verticals such as public sector, healthcare, financial, and many types of private industry. I have worked with government and fortune 50 to small business. Each of these has a specific focus and the same problems may require different solutions. Today's business is complex and there is no such thing as a silver bullet for a technological solution. My overall focus is making the right technology choices to support the business drivers. There are different frameworks for focusing this effort, but fundamentally it is about guiding the customer on the path to success. Success lies in customer adoption to drive the value from their tool. I use my broad-based experience to help lead an organization to their goals. That means I need to interface with multiple teams, and communicate in a way each team understands, so that we can communicate as a larger team.
