I graduated with a Master's degree in Mechanical Engineering from North Carolina State University, Raleigh, USA. My concentrations were in the areas of CFD, computational combustion, and heat transfer. For my Master's thesis, I worked on the DNS of auto-ignition in premixed hydrogen-air mixtures under turbulent conditions (Find it at: https://repository.lib.ncsu.edu/handle/1840.16/8193/). I then worked as a Computational Fluid Dynamics engineer at John Zink Hamworthy Combustion's Research and Development group in Tulsa, Oklahoma for a little over 4 years. Due to personal reasons, I quit and moved back to India in Sep. 2017.I'm currently freelancing as a technical copyeditor, focusing primarily on physical sciences, mathematics, and engineering. I'm passionate about computational science, simulating natural phenomena, and the open-source ecosystem.
