I’m banged up from a life well lived, but I keep moving Forward.My diverse colleague/peer group has made it a lot of fun to stay connected, as their referral realtor. Plus, I send a pretty awesome housewarming gift to show my appreciation.Presently, finding homes… mostly volunteering to continue to make this bay amazing (affordable Colorado aka Bayfield County).I bring my Midwest (US) work-ethic, awesomely optimistic attitude, and unmatched international problem solving to work everyday.In nearly a decade of service in the USAF I worked on the development of UAVs, test facility management for directed energy systems and the small diameter bomb. I led a small team that earned the first ISO certification in the DoD (2,500 emoloyees and five different product streams). They joked that I volunteered for Iraq because I needed a break from ISO. After my first OIF ‘03-04 tour working under Amb. Bremer's Chief of Staff. I was then quickly and honorably discharged, this White House favor allowed me to join the UN. Two months later, I returned to Iraq and helped the people hold their 2005 elections. After that I came home and provided humanitarian aid to the survivors of hurricane Katrina consulting FEMA, we provided shelter to displaced persons. Before I could finish my graduate degree in public health from Emory University, I was consulting the CDC with their H1N1 (swine flu) response. I then joined WVl where I worked with an amazing international team for nearly six years. We fixed a huge problem that now keeps my former colleagues and beneficiaries safer. Now that I am done globetrotting, I volunteer many hours a week and try to make my community a better place.
