During my time with the UN, I had the opportunity to contribute significantly to various sustainable development projects. This included editing study documents on sustainable development for Ecuador, climate action guidelines documents for Haiti and Belize, and a nature-based solutions and carbon dioxide removal study done by ECLAC. I am particularly proud of my work in editing the English version of the latter, which has since been published in Spanish and English. Additionally, I wrote several web notes on circular economy for the official ECLAC website.

During my internship at SERVIU's Urban Regeneration of Housing Complexes project, I was able to dive deep into my passion for sustainable development and urban climate resilience. I developed an Urban Adaptation to Climate Change project, where I conducted research and analysis on the environmental, social, life cycle, and climate impacts of integrating sustainable practices in the housing regeneration for vulnerable communities. One of my proudest achievements during this internship was analyzing social housing construction guidelines and policies to create a template with recommended sustainable practice measures, used by construction developers. Overall, this internship allowed me to pursue my passion for sustainable development while contributing to a project that aims to make a real difference in the lives of vulnerable communities.

While working as an Administrative Assistant and Cashier in the Accounts Receivable department at UHN, I developed strong communication, time management, adaptability and customer service skills. My role involved handling a variety of administrative tasks, including filing, data entry, medical services billing, and other duties that requires accuracy and speed. I collaborated with senior employees to process claims from multiple insurance companies, ensuring timely and accurate billing practices. I also managed the daily preparation and billing of ambulance and emergency room invoices, ensuring compliance with billing practices. My experience at uHN allowed me to develop and refine my administrative and financial management skills, as well as my customer service skills.
