Over the course of my life, the greatest skill I've acquired is resourcefulness. I've had experience in many different industries doing many different jobs and tasks in different departments, nearly all which were foreign to me upon my first day. But whether it's a job, a hobby, an interest, or a matter of mere survival, you ask questions, leverage advice, learn, and be deliberate, efficient, and reliable.Beyond accomplishing the responsibilities put in front of you, I approach work the same way I approach just about anything else: fostering relationships. People who say business isn't personal couldn't be more wrong; business is nothing but personal. I pride myself on being the person that people enjoy having on their team, balancing the need-to-get-done focus with humor, joy, and playfulness. We can either be someone that others must work with, or someone others prefer to work with. In any organization, the people are the ones who build a culture.It's become a cliche in the working world to say that you're looking for growth, and while I certainly share that sentiment, what I think that means for me is to learn. Growth to me is seeking out something new and challenging, that presses me to have a deeper understanding of how and why. I look for those things that get me up in the morning, energized to see how far down the rabbit hole I can go to provide value, whether it be professional or personal.
