Energy Supply Supervisor
CurrentAs an Energy Supply Supervisor, I oversee a combined cycle plant and play a pivotal role in ensuring efficient and safe operation of approximately 175.00 MW of power generation. My primary responsibilities include the safety and reliability of unit operators and equipment, overseeing the process of generating units, collaborating with other internal departments for engineering upgrades, and continuously improving operational procedures.My Key Responsibilities include:Monitoring and supervising the operation of generating units to maintain consistent power output and ensure adherence to operational guidelines and standards for power generation.Prioritize and maintain a strong safety culture among unit operators and other team members. Conduct regular safety briefings and ensure all safety protocols are followed. Implement preventive maintenance schedules to enhance the reliability of equipment.Lead and mentor a team of unit operators, guiding and supporting their daily tasks while fostering a collaborative and high-performance work environment.Collaborate with internal engineering departments to plan and execute equipment upgrades and maintenance. Monitor equipment performance and coordinate repairs or replacements as needed.Continuously review, revise, and update operational procedures to improve efficiency and safety while developing and implementing standard operating procedures for new/existing equipment and processes. Establish and maintain emergency response protocols, including isolating and restoring equipment during outages or failures.Ensure compliance with all regulatory requirements and reporting obligations related to power generation and safety. Prepare and submit regular reports on plant performance and operational activities.Provide shift relief and sick/vacation coverage in a dynamic 24/7 operational environment, which requires me to work shifts, weekends, holidays, and in emergencies.
