The Manager of Business Integration & Readiness – Country Management Support is tasked with consolidating and analyzing the impacts of various programs, projects, and initiatives from different functions on Sasol’s business and stakeholders in Mozambique.Key Accountabilities:• Operational Efficiency & Risk Management: Enhance operational efficiency and risk management within the Country Management & Corporate Affairs Division.• Administrative Oversight: Oversee general administration at Sasol's Maputo headquarters, ensuring streamlined administrative, logistical, and operational support across all departments.• Business Integration Support: Facilitate efficient business integration and provide ongoing support to various Sasol departments operating at the headquarters.• Stakeholder Management: Collaborate with Country Management to cultivate and manage constructive relationships with both external and internal stakeholders.• Reporting & Budget Control: Deliver regular reports on progress, project management, and comprehensive oversight of project requirements, exercising full budget and cost control within the country management domain.• Monthly Reporting: Lead the delivery of monthly reports for country management and coordinate monthly meetings.• Project Coordination: Represent Sasol and act as Project Coordinator for the $5 million USD CNG Fund, collaborating with MIREME and BNI to develop and expand the Compressed Natural Gas value chain for the transportation sector in southern Mozambique.• Cost Reduction Initiatives: Serve as Project Coordinator for the Maputo Office Scale Down and Cost Reduction Project (MOSCREP), a flagship initiative aimed at improving space utilization efficiency, cost optimization, employee wellbeing, and sustainability in the Maputo office.

Member of the Evaluation and Qualification Commission for the College of Electrotechnical Engineering.My responsibilities include (but not limited to):- Analysis and opinion on membership application processes for trainee members;- Analysis and opinion on the transition request processes from trainee to permanent members;- Revision of the engineering acts for the branches of engineering assigned to the College of Electrotechnical Engineering.

Vivo Energy is the company that distributes and markets Shell and Engen branded fuels and lubricants to retail and commercial customers in Mozambique.My responsibilities include (but not limited to):▪ Sales, business development and account management of the entire Mozambique Mining Portfolio;▪ Provide an Integrated Power Solutions for mining customers that includes: Fuels, Shell Lubricants and Hybrid Solar Systems (Solar Panels + Storage) including technical support and customized value propositions for customers nationwide;▪ Develop, update and implement accordingly, on a yearly basis, for each Mining customer, the Account Plan covering products, services packages, contracts, prices, credit, marketing activities and communicate the Account Plan to all departments involved in service delivery to these key accounts. Positively manage CRM directly and indirectly at all relevant customer levels within the Sales CRM framework.

▪ Sales, business development and project management of the entire Energy Management division in the vertical markets of utilities, EPC's and IPP's;▪ Regional Account Manager of the multimillion-dollar accounts of HCB and EDM within Siemens responsible for all business developed between Siemens and those two entities: +50MUSD in revenue between 2015 to 2020;• Write business plans for all current and opportunity tender business;▪ Coordination and preparation of proposals for substations projects, switching stations, MV systems, protection and control systems, and others;▪ Direct support to the Siemens Mozambique Country Manager in the market development.

- I started as Junior M/LWD Field Engineer for 8 months in Tanzania participating in drilling activities for clients such as Statoil and BG (all projects off-shore);- Transferred to Saudi Arabia, where I participated in various on and offshore projects, providing multi-million USD services (MWD/LWD) to Saudi ARAMCO.My responsibilities included (but not limited):▪ Fully responsible for job planning and mobilization of equipment before and after drilling the well;▪ Responsible for handling high-tech electromechanical equipment (MWD and LWD Tools) formeasurement/acquisition of petrophysics and geological data (gamma ray, resistivity, porosity,density, acoustic data, etc.) requested by the client;▪ Make cost estimations and meet with key suppliers and negotiate contracts;▪ Introducing/Selling new equipment and solutions for customer representatives on the rig site;▪ Provide technical support, answers and quality solutions to customer issues, requests or problems.

During the implementation of this project, I had the opportunity to participate in the following studies:▪ Strengthening of the Maputo transmission network. This study consisted in establishing a backbone transmission line ring at 275 kV, and increase the capacity of the existing 66 kV transmission lines up to 120 MVA (EDM, nowadays, is implementing the results of our study under the PERIP project);▪ Analysis of the technical feasibility for the expansion of the southern transmission grid (110 kV). Using the software tool, PSSE, the team simulated the response of the southern grid with the extension of the 110 kV line from Lionde to Mapai and Lindela to Massinga. In general the system showed good response. The study recommended the installation of reactive energy compensation devices in Mapai, as well as in Lindela and Massinga (Both projects have been successfully completed by EDM in the past two years)▪ Expansion and strengthening of the northern region transmission grid. The team simulated the response of the northern system with the addition of a second transmission line from Caia to Nacala. To allow increased power transfer along the northern corridor, the study recommended the construction of the line at 400 kV voltage level and installation of additional reactive compensation devices (EDM has launched a tender for this project and the scope is aligned with the results of our study)▪ Assistance in the preparation of plans and reports for the Electricity Master Plan Update Project in EDM financed by the World Bank, during 2011 to 2012.
