I am a registered U.S. Patent Attorney that has drafted and prosecuted over 200 U.S. and foreign patent applications in various fields, including medical devices, biotechnology, biomaterials, and machine vision processing systems. In addition to counseling clients on all aspects of intellectual property protection, including patents, trademarks, copyrights, and trade secrets, I have first chair patent trial experience in federal district court and before the International Trade Commission, and have had lead counsel responsibilities in three federal jury trials.Each spring I teach an upper level course on patent preparation and prosecution as an adjunct professor at Syracuse University College of Law.
