Lead Installer

Brookfield, Wisconsin, United States

I am responsible for installing of a multitude of shower doors including Capris, Semi-frameless/framed sliders, Rotolos, Sorrentos, Semi frameless/framed/heavy glass door and panels, as well as custom heavy glass doors and panels. I also install railing glass, cabinet glass, mirrors, and replace residential window glass. On a typical work day I work with customers and contractors directly to make sure installations go smoothly in order to minimize mistakes, reduce return visits, and maximize their satisfaction with the finished product. This involves preplanning, problem solving, and efficient time management skills. While working for Wingspan I became a lead installer within 3 months of starting. I also created a mobile application to label photos which helped our front office reference images for measures and installations quickly.

Technical Solutions Engineer

Verona, Wisconsin, United States

I worked closely with hospital organizations to make sure their Grand Central application of Epic was able to perform their custom workflows and ran smoothly. This included workflows for patient admissions, internal and external transfers, discharges, overall hospital bed planning, hospital occupancy reporting, as well as environmental service workflows. I contributed in Epic's downtime prevention team and was closely involved in system recovery for two organizations which came under attack of ransomware. This job greatly improved my abilities in networking strategic partnerships, issue escalation, critical time management skills, task prioritization, as well as improved my interpersonal skills with customers. I also gained a lot of experience in reading, writing, and troubleshooting code, as well as the application development process.

Aug 2019 - Jan 2022

Associate Calibration Technician

Merrillville, In

I worked mostly from Calibration Laboratory's satellite location in Brookfield, WI. I was responsible for calibrating equipment such as power analyzers, multimeters, oscilloscopes, hipots, calipers, LCR meters and more. I also helped train new Wisconsin technicians, maintained the overall upkeep of the Wisconsin laboratory, as well as kept the Wisconsin laboratory's calibration standards up to date. This job helped hone my calibration knowledge, gave me a broad understanding of many types of meters, a fundamental understanding of circuitry as well as circuit schematics, improved my team leadership skills, and stepped up my customer communication.

Jul 2017 - Jul 2019

Research Intern

Madison, Wisconsin Area

I was brought on full time from a Student Hourly position (Jan 2016 - May 2016) to continue my research. I preformed research on neutral hydrogen gas clouds in the Small Magellanic Cloud (SMC). I looked into processes of turbulent forces creating structures in the SMC. I wrote programs to run power spectrum analysis, and structure function analysis on a three-dimensional (position-position-velocity) array of the SMC. This was done to determine if different turbulent forces act upon the SMC in different regions. I wrote code in UNIX and IDL. During my time as a Research Intern I published a paper on my research, and I presented a poster of my research at the 229th American Astronomical Society conference. My research showed evidence that star formation is not the main contributor of gas turbulence. This job taught me proficient computer coding skills, made me efficient in analyzing large data sets, sharpened my time management, strengthened my perseverance towards goals despite set backs, and improved my public speaking as well as scientific writing.

Jan 2016 - Feb 2017

Student Hourly

University Of Wisconsin System

Madison, Wisconsin Area

I was responsible for fabricating and setting up displays for the UW-Madison's Physics Museum. The museum is designed for people of all ages to interact directly with the displays and to foster curiosity for the physical world. I often worked with basic electronics to create complex circuits needed for the physics displays. I fabricated 6 museum displays for UW-Madison's Physics Museum, and participated in the creation of many others for The Madison Science Museum located in Madison Area Technical College's downtown campus. This job taught me small team dynamics, improved my independent problem solving, sharpened my ability to apply learned concepts, made me tenacious against challenging problems, and bolstered my ability to communicate complex ideas to people in simple ways.

Mar 2014 - May 2016

Paid On Call Firefighter/Emt-Basic

Town Of Blooming Grove Fire Department

The Town Of Blooming Grove, Wisconsin

I was responsible for suppressing fire in and around residential homes, businesses, and wildlands. I preformed extrication of trapped passengers in vehicle collisions as well as confined spaces. I provided emergency medical service care to those who required it. Our fire department also provided decontamination of emergency personnel and citizens at hazardous incidents. I often drove fire trucks to and from emergency scenes, as well as to and from training events. I was awarded Firefighter of the quarter in 2012. Key skills I obtained include how to work well under pressure, how to focus on a single goal while understanding the larger picture, how to communicate simply and effectively, and how to work efficiently in a team dynamic. The Town of Blooming Grove Fire Department was shut down on July 1st, 2015.
