Key Responsibilities as FEA Engineer:• Investigates product and system problems, understands causal mechanisms, recommends appropriate action, owns problem resolution and documents results.• Finite Element Analysis and validation of Engine and subsystem components like air handling system, cylinder head and block and base engine components. • Coordinating the overall activities of the group involved in the project.• Development of analysis and post-processing codes using ADPL (ANSYS Parametric Design Language).• Preparation of technical reports of the analysis and interaction with the customer through e-mail/telephone.• Solves product problems using a process that protects the customer; determines the assignable cause; implements robust, data-based solutions; and identifies the systemic root causes and recommended actions to prevent problem reoccurrence.• Developing analytical processes for stress analysis / dynamic analysis / fatigue analysis• Study the physical responses, such as stress levels and temperature distributions and to optimize a design early in the development process to reduce production costs.• Coach and develop team members by closely working with them and providing opportunities.• Peer review and scoping the analysis projects.• Work on projects to meet customer timelines and document new analysis processes.Advanced Analyses Techniques Handled: 1. • Concern resolution.• Release DCR/ECN /CCR/PAB.• Responsible for implementation of ECN through Pre & Post EN meetings.• Validation of design changes.• Interaction with COE representatives for design related issues. • MPPAP/ FTR triggered by EN.• Study the field concerns and change the design in consultation with Quality Analyst.• Preparation of drawings ,3D parts & its validation.• Preparation of System level DFMEA.• Compilation of Critical concerns and emerging concerns.• Handling all Engine support system concern for the Maxximo, Scorpio, Genio, Xylo, Bolero & XUV 500 models.
