I'm excited to bring my expertise in communications, marketing and project management to our King's EPSRC Centre for Doctoral Training in Data-Driven Health (DRIVE-Health).I’ll draw on my experience in stakeholder engagement, strategic communications, and content creation to shape and develop initiatives that will help deliver DRIVE-Health’s mission to train and equip 85 PhD students to become the next generation of health data scientists, delivering advancements and improvements in healthcare delivery and population health. My professional career began with invaluable agency and account management experience in the fast food, entertainment, retail and finance sectors (McDonalds, Disney, Tesco, BP and Lloyds). This provided essential grounding for my move across to the corporate sector where I had senior marketing manager roles working within the Consumer Products division at the Walt Disney Company.As the Marketing & Communications Manager at a national charity, I delivered notable successes and developments in new areas. These included the successful launch and revenue generation of their first ever emergency appeal, the evolution of a digitally inclusive and sight loss friendly impact report, and the establishment of a corporate partnerships pitch suite bolstered by web and video exposure. I secured national 3rd sector press coverage from a recent press release highlighting change in leadership.As the Marketing Manager for a leading Building & Energy Management Systems company, I developed, led and executed the marketing strategy and repositioned the brand for growth following a change in ownership. I developed the brand identity, DNA and strategy alongside the creation and management of digital brand assets, a new website and blog, and social media channels and content.✦ My planned career break was a busy and varied one, some highlights include; helping at our local primary school (weekly),volunteering at the school chess club (weekly),team manager for the annual Kent Junior League swim squad and property development.
