Cameron is in the business of humanization. He believes that the biggest barriers to equity, inclusion, and justice is due to people failing to acknowledge humanity in one another, whether conscious or unconscious. In all facets of his work, he begins with developing the people skill of humanization, especially for those who have been systemically and historically marginalized.Cameron also considers himself a systems builder. Whether its workin within the DEI spectrum, strategic thinking/planning, teambuilding, work culture, or leadership, he has a unique way of dovetailing between a macro and a micro lens to ensure vertical systems integration. This nicely links the humanization approach, with the systems approach. The majority of this work has been done within the education system by Cameron, but he has recently began to consult and implement this work within the private and public sector as well.The foundations of Cameron’s professional career is anchored in education. This is evident in the teacher approach he takes in his work. He has been a high school classroom teacher, coach, school-building administrator, school district-level administrator, recruiting consultant, and adjunct professor. In each of his roles, his focus has been creating a foundation built on humanization.
