I am a general surgery registrar at Imperial College Trust with an interest in Breast Oncoplastics. My PhD is based on using confocal microscopy and Raman spectroscopy to improve breast conserving surgery in cancer via improved intra-operative and clinic based optical diagnostics. I am a content creator on Youtube and TikTok and regularly engage in national public health campaigns. I graduated from St Andrews then Aberdeen (BSc in Medicine, MBChB). I completed an MSc in Applied Human Factors and Ergonomics, University of Nottingham. I have a passion for healthcare system transformation, robot surgical integration efficiency and optimisation. I am currently involved in surgical productivity and human factors research along with work on breast cancer margin outcomes in surgery. I have further interests in medical education and health technology founding and developing teaching programmes particularly in undergraduate programmes and an AI based health tech start up.
