I am a medical doctor with a Behaviour Change Masters and Healthcare Management Bachelors degree. I am interested in improving population health through health system transformation and the use of behavioural science to address lifestyle changes, in particular through the use of health technologies. • My medical training alongside my health care management degree has allowed me to develop in-depth knowledge of the UK health system. I have sought opportunities to gain further expertise in population health throughout my training including developing an accredited London-wide student global health course, conducting numerous self-directed projects and completing additional qualifications such as a certificate in prescribing lifestyle medicine. • Completing a MSc in Behaviour Change allowed me to gain extensive knowledge in designing, implementing and evaluating behaviour change interventions across topics from missed GP appointments to reducing consumption of ultra-processed foods in people with type two diabetes to developing a prototype for a sexual health app to increase uptake of chlamydia screening. • For my Masters thesis I used behavioural science to provide recommendations for a digital wellbeing intervention to increase adoption of healthy behaviours and researched the role of flexible wellbeing in workplace wellbeing across a European company using the intervention. • I also have experience working with start-ups as part of student consulting roles to provide data-driven recommendations based in behavioural science to improve their ability to increase customer sustainability or wellbeing behaviours.
