His accomplishments also include developing treatment programs to address the behaviors associated with alcohol abuse and drug use. His educational attributes consist of degrees in health education, social work, counseling, management and supervision with a concentration in treating addiction disorders, and a doctorate in psychology.Dr. Lowe served as a medical corpsman in the United States Army and has worked extensively with military personnel to address alcohol/drug addiction and post-traumatic stress disorder. Upon honorable discharged, he began his professional career in nursing, providing care for veterans with spinal cord injuries, addressing neurological disorder, the addictive process, and its long-term effects.
