Mike is a unique Individual, who has the rare talent of spreading infectious excitement about a project. He is a solid, goal-oriented, family man & father of three children on earth, one in heaven. His talents include Biology, Chemistry, and Educational Outreach, he has used these talents to create the persona known as DoctorSlime ( a community outreach project). He Teaches Chemistry as an adjunct at SVSU, and maintains the Laboratories of Delta College additionally he has worked on many specialized projects Dioxin Sampling, for ENSR & the EPA, conducted toxicological surveys for the MDPH, as well as working as an outside consultant on many chemical projects for a wide variety of clients on an as needed confidental basis.Doctorslime is the stage name of a character he uses with Educational Outreach Programs. Doctorslime is the Archetype Mad Scientist with Green hair and a white Lab coat, he uses to capture his audience, while exciting, educating and entertaining them.His stated Goal is to "Reach Children and Turn them on to Science" He has stated there is a critical window in which scientific critical thinking must be engaged by children, which if they pass it by they wander away from Science rarely to return later in life. He accounts for our missing the opportunity to open the window for our shortage of future scientists, even when we have lots of bright talented students out there.
