Dr. Slater earned her medical degree from the Keck School of Medicine of the University of Southern California. She received her Master's Degree in Public Health with an emphasis in Preventive Medicine from the University of Southern California simultaneously with her Bachelor of Science in Health Promotion and Disease Prevention.Dr. Slater's primary professional interests are primary care, preventive medicine, aesthetic medicine women's health, geriatric medicine, integrative medicine, patient education, and palliative/end-of-life care. She believes healing begins with creating a strong, trusting doctor/patient relationship. When a doctor knows her patients well, she can combine her medical knowledge with their values to help make appropriate, shared medical decisions and utilize the state-of-the-art in our high-tech, complex medical system.
