Integrated Dermatology is a leading national dermatology practice that acquires and partners with dermatology practices across the United States. The culture at ID is a reflection of its people. In this role, I have expanded Chesapeake Urology's IT Services and Support on national level with over 60 offices in Maryland, Deleware, Tennessee, Colorado, and Arizona. One of my main duties is to devise and implement process/procedures for technical integration of newly acquired practices into a consolidated UUG network infrastructure. Furthermore, I build teams to support end-users, server infrastructure, and LAN/WAN networks; establishing the IT department from ground up.A few of key accomplishments include:• Established UUG's 3rd generation cloud-based data center and migrated all targeted resources to new datacenter with zero user downtime.• Developed and deployed IT integration strategy for new acquisitions into UUG operation.• Designed and deployed 2nd and 3rd generation data center solutions for United Urology.• Created and implemented AVAYA Voice over IP (VoIP) solution for United Urology's 50+ nationwide locations, including Customer Service and Patient Liaison Call Centers.

Reporting to the Chief Financial Officer, I was responsible for creating the IT department, providing support, and establishing and managing expectations of users for the largest urology practice in the Mid-Atlantic region, and 2nd largest in the country. I established a VOIP infrastructure for the implementation of a company call center; proceduralized the maintenance of licensing agreements for each operating system and production application software. I was also called upon to negotiate hardware, software, services, and support contracts with multiple vendors, creating information systems security policies and procedures, drafted technical project plans for installing and implementing approved solutions and ultimately drove the the implementation efforts of new server infrastructure components, including VMWare, Citrix, and SAN technologies.

During my time here, I led and supervised eight-membered team of local and remote network administrators and helpdesk staff. I also hired high performing personnel to ensure optimal network uptime, produce trend analyses, and maintain data integrity. Moreover, I maintained licensing history for all operating system and production application software. I wrote information systems security policies and procedures. In addition, I examined PC requests for hardware and software for entire company. Lastly, I crafted technical project plans for installation and implementation of approved solutions.A few of key accomplishments are mentioned below:• Cultivated support and licensing agreements with companies, such as Microsoft, Dell, Symantec, and Veritas.• Planned and deployed highly secure and robust infrastructure solution, including management of Local- and Wide-Area Network infrastructures.

 Provided leadership to 12 technical specialists—8 local and 4 remote staff members—as well as second-tier support for the operations, telecommunications, and helpdesk groups. Recruited qualified personnel to ensure network uptime, produce trend analyses, and maintain data integrity. Played a key role in the design and implementation of a 500+-node WAN and served as the primary architect in the design and implementation of a 100+-server LAN. Managed a 40+ Citrix server farm that supported over 3,500 concurrent users across the US; hosted applications included custom-written applications in addition to off-the-shelf applications such as Kronos, Microsoft Office, and DietMaster Pro. Evaluated PC requests for hardware and software for the entire company.
