Launched over 20 products with access to over 40+ carriers in personal and commercial lines in niche markets. Sample Carriers: Lloyds of London, CHUBB, Crum & Forster, Travelers, Hiscox, Arch, etc. Highlight: The best part of this job was developing an entirely new brand and shaping how clients and carriers experienced it. We went from a generic name like Commercial Insurance Group to Bigfoot Insurance. It has since been acquired.Projects: Hired a designer for logo based on my initial sketches. Developed messaging and all digital and physical marketing assets. Obtained all the requisite domains, social media handles, and trademarks. Built a new website on Squarespace, grew a huge following on LinkedIn and Instagram, and launched the Bigfoot platform with the founders of Surefyre. When I started, the company was still accepting Accord applications in the mail and by fax. It took a lot of coaxing but we got thousands of agencies to join the modern world by making insurance as fun and simple as possible.

Beyond standard classroom lectures and group discussions, students also get the opportunity to score a Colorado Rockies or Sky Sox game and connect with guest lecturers from the industry. With a midterm speech and a group volunteer project, this course offers a hands-on approach to leadership education culminating in the award of an honorary Roberto Clemente Award. On a personal note, the St. Louis Cardinals are my home team and was lucky enough to attend Game 6 of the 2011 World Series. What's your favorite baseball memory? Event SpecialistThe Colorado Haiti Project Mar 2017 - May 2017Louisville, Co, UsI am really proud to be the Event Specialist for the 7th Annual Evening for Haiti Gala - Kanaval Edition. Every year we take a moment to celebrate and honor the hard work of our staff, interns, volunteers, and partners. This year we introduced our new Executive Director Wynn Walent. We also celebrated the amazing work of Teresa Henry and Tate Lowery who were not only at the helm of our office in Colorado for the past year, but have been at the heart of successful projects in Haiti as well. We also recognized the tremendous contributions of board members Jackie Martin, Anne Skamarock, Cathleen McManus, Paul Chyc, Erin Snyder Ulric, Fr. Abiade Lozama, Dave Watson, and Jim Rudosky. Colorado Haiti Project supports rural partners in Petit Trou attain lasting change rather than continue aid dependencies. After Hurricane Matthew hit Haiti last year, CHP provided resources to reopen the school in less than two weeks and recently launched a seed bank after most farms and trees were decimated. We celebrated the community-led endeavors to help get people back on their feet. So far 1,200 people have purchased seed to replant their crops, reducing the risk of famine.
