As Senior Project Manager at Stone Security Engineering, Ketan is responsible for project management and leadership of the design team on blast resistant, anti-terrorism, and protective design assignments. He is responsible for quality control and timeliness of all deliverables, and coordination and guidance to staff assigned to design projects. Ketan also assists senior management in pursuing new work, and is responsible for marketing the firm's protective design capabilities to current and potential clients.Ketan has focused on protective design and worked on numerous sensitive public and private sector projects. In addition to working on the World Trade Center redevelopment, including the National September 11th Memorial and Museum, PATH Hub and WTC Towers 2, 3, and 4, Ketan has worked on the new Smithsonian National Museum of African American History and Culture, and various US Embassies worldwide. Ketan has over 20 years of experience with private and public sector projects, both domestic and international. Public agency clients include: Department of Defense (DoD), US Army Corps of Engineers (USACE), Naval Facilities Engineering Systems Command (NAVFAC), US State Department (DoS), Department of Homeland Security (DHS), General Services Administration (GSA), Veterans Adminstration (VA), Smithsonian Institutution (SI), Port Authority of New York and New Jersey (PANYNJ), and NYS Department of Transportation (NYSDOT). Ketan is experienced in analysis and design of new and existing steel, concrete, glass, curtainwall, and cable structures; dynamic structural blast analysis, explosive effects, progressive collapse analysis, threat and vulnerability studies, and risk assessments.As a project manager, Ketan is experienced with development of proposals, project delivery, and production of construction documents, including coordination and development of drawings, reports, calculations, and specifications; construction administration, management of project budget and labor resources, quality control, scheduling and coordinating work for team members, leading coordination meetings, and development and delivery of presentations.Ketan is also an adjunct professor at the Cooper Union since 2010, where he has developed and taught graduate level courses in protective design and urban security. Ketan has been selected to teach training sessions at the Joint Engineer Training Conference and Expo (JETC) sponsored by the Society of Military Engineers (SAME).
