As a researcher-turned-entrepreneur, I have honed product development and experience design skills over a decade, successfully transforming novel ideas into revenue-generating products.As CEO of Ouva, I bootstrapped a business that delivered innovative, award-winning AI solutions to healthcare's hardest challenges, enabling higher staff capacity and faster patient recovery. Millions of patients have used Ouva products at Stanford, UCSF, and other leading hospitals in the US, Europe and Australia. I developed autonomous monitoring, voice assistance and other prototypes and built teams around them, transforming one-off projects into commercially viable products, allowing Ouva to stay independent and stick to its ethical AI foundations. I built partnerships with NVIDIA, Microsoft, Oracle, Unity, and other major tech infrastructure players to propel Ouva to be an early credible voice in the emerging virtual care space.As Director of R&D at Snibbe Interactive, I adapted human-computer interaction design concepts, which led to the transformation of a renowned immersive art studio that produced exhibits for Google, Cisco, and Autodesk into an innovative interactive healthcare company with $MM+ revenue.As a researcher at Berkeley Lab, I used topological analysis to devise methods that visualize large evolving data sets, with applications ranging from identifying high fuel consumption areas to auto-tuning supercomputing algorithms.I enjoy talking to people across domains of technology, healthcare and experience design. I gave a tech talk at GTC, taught an interactive art class at California College of Arts, spoke to physicians at Stanford Medicine X, presented a webinar with Unity on synthetic data to increase precision and reduce bias of AI models, and talked on entrepreneurship panels with Oracle.
