"Dance on the edge" is a non-profit organization based in Sacramento, California. It is affiliated withthe City of Sacramento. The purpose of the organization is to organize food, drink, shopping andmusic festivals for the residents of Sacramento during Spring, Summer and Fall and to providedance classes for the participants. I worked in the organization for 6 months and also gavetrainings. I took part in the programming, budgeting, management and training process.

* Training social dance groups and preparing performance classes to dance shows.* Educating assistants who will attend classes as educators on the following topics: - How to teach in group classes? - How to communicate with different age and gender groups? - The motivational methods needed to ensure that trainees could be permanent. * Setting up orientation system * Creating a 6-month course training curriculum in the branch of Salsa * Training needs analysis and creating training plan * Establishment of performance evaluation system * Corporate branding

In accordance with the protocol signed between the municipality of Cankaya and the Cankaya Public Education Center, the instructors of the courses that are given in various branches, are assigned by the Cankaya Public Education Center. Each year courses which start around November usually continues until June and at the end of this period, the courses are closed. ** In the classes, I am usually teaching middle-aged and older participants to increase their physical awareness and rhythm skills along with basic dance steps.
