Basic duties include office administration such as transcription, filing, shift work coordination, patient education, scheduling, and insurance correspondence. Successfully implemented and trained all staff on new electronic medical records and scheduling system. By implementing this new system I was able to design a digital filing structure that allowed for easier access to pertinent medical information for the doctors and staff, which in turn allowed for quicker communication times between our primary care practice and specialist offices for better organized patient care. Now that the system is set up I utilize my computer science and IT skills on a daily basis to provide in-house maintenance to the database as well as trouble shoot any issues.
