DK had a progressive career as the head of various engineering functions within a Fortune 500 companies before he realized that the path might not be the best thing for him.DK made the decision to kick-start his Sales career. His first attempt was selling ad for inflight magazine, and he quickly proved himself and became top sales person of the month 5 months after joining. One year later, with an introduction, DK joined online media sales. DK was goal oriented and relentless in getting sales, and he became one of the top sales persons. He was promoted within 9 months, and another promotion again in 7 months.In his early career in Engineering, DK joined start up in Singapore such as Hitachi Nippon Steel and Kimberly Clark, when the manufacturing plants were still being built. On hindsight, DK's 10-year engineering background has paid good dividends because of the analytical mind and ability to execute tasks systematically. He excels at conceptualize the benefits of his product by explaining it succinctly and clearly. DK has also demonstrated the ability to lead teams and build relationship with clients.Interestingly, DK joined another start up, Brandscreen, as Regional Account Manager in 2011; and he’s also employee no. 2 in Singapore. The then 2-man team in SG quickly built a strong SEA business, and in less than a year the SG team has grown multiple times, and so has the sales.
