I enjoy working with and developing technologies that improve our life and daily work. While heading up a strategic product management team responsible for mobile Internet and emerging technologies, I worked with managed services in the network layer. Today, I work with services in the cloud. I help companies create, transition to, and use software, platforms, and apps offered as a service.My farthest move was caused by project management when I was called to fix a struggling project. Project management was, and is a learning journey for me, through methods from waterfall to iterative to agile and scrum, through continents, through cultures and with people of broad backgrounds and experiences. I get the projects done, and I love doing so with teams, working together.As an advisor, embedded with client’s organizations, I work with C-level management on business planning, go-to-market strategies and product management for cloud-based services and applications. I manage operations, always looking for more efficient ways to do things, and do it more effectively.Working with security is a way I keep being hands-on with technology; performing security pen tests and audits, diving a little bit deeper into network communications. Teaching is another, and user education is a critical element of security. I help companies establish and implement security and privacy policies and procedures, ultimately making one’s business information infrastructure more secure.Besides cloud computing, security, 5G, software-defined networks, big data and analytics, I am intrigued by the possibilities of the Internet of Things; from communication technologies that allow interconnections, to new ways to gather, store and analyze the data, to security implications stemming from all the connected devices.
