Performed evaluation, design, bid assistance, and construction administration services for structural engineering and building envelope renovation projects in the residential and commercial sectors. Projects included repair, augmentation and replacement of steel, concrete, and wood structures, as well as repair/restoration/replacement of roofs, facades, waterproofing, and fenestration systems.Tasks included: - Forensic evaluation and testing such as leak testing, destructive test cuts, and infrared thermography.- Building code review and design calculations to determine required performance criteria and design loads.- Drafting project specifications, construction drawings, and bid contracts.- Reviewed in progress construction for compliance with building codes and project construction documents.- Hosted on site construction meetings with contractors and building owners throughout construction term.

Projects included restoration/replacement of historic masonry facades, steep slope roofs, low slope roofs, sealants, fenestrations, waterproofing, cladding, and associated structural components.Tasks included: - Forensic evaluation and testing such as leak testing, destructive test cuts, and infrared thermography.- Building code review and design calculations to determine required performance criteria and design loads.- Drafting project specifications, construction drawings, and bid contracts.- Reviewed in progress construction for compliance with building codes and project construction documents.- Hosted on site construction meetings with contractors and building owners throughout construction term.

Project Management Rotation: Assisted project managers with scope generation, subcontractor buy-out, and scheduling for retail construction projects throughout New York City, including Times Square and Hudson Yards.Field Operations Rotation: Assisted senior superintendents with coordination / oversight of the construction of the Wegman's New York City Flagship, in the historic Brooklyn Navy Yard.

Worked on the Commonwealth Avenue Bridge Reconstruction Project. The project utilized Accelerated Bridge Construction (ABC) methods to fully replace a 75,000 square foot section of bridge (from demo to substantial completion) in approximately three weeks. Supported project engineers with concrete QA/QC, testing, and deliveries.
