Produce videos and other visuals that document the work of the Speaker of the Federal Republic of Nigeria in the service of the country.Determine the best media outlet for visual assets to get the best reach.Directed video teams and collaborated with National Tv crews for major video projects.

Develop ideas and oversaw projects and coordinated productions consisting of various professionals (designers, artists, videographers, photographers, programmers, carpenters, architects, etc.) to successful completion.Develop creative briefs based on ideas established in brainstorming sessions with direction, schedules, and expected deliverables for the creative team.Presentation of finished products to clients at various stakeholder meetings.

Redesigned the company’s brand architecture and created a standard look and layout for the company’s flagship product (a culture and heritage magazine) that was consistent with the design trends of the time. Streamlined design work on the magazine, which reduced general production time by two weeks Learnt a lot about magazine design and large publication printing from doing a lot of research in the field.Was promoted to Lead Designer after a year of work at the company.

Conceptualized, created, and executed projects in an environment where multiple design and branding projects were constantly executed simultaneously with very stiff deadlines.Led a design team of 3 in creating in-house and marketing assets for the various companies (Banks, restaurants, tech companies) that were our clients.Met and worked closely with clients to deliver goals while coordinating the design team and collaborating with other in-house teams and external vendors (Printers, manufacturers, interior decorators, etc.)The key takeaway from this experience was understanding the role of communication with clients and teams.

Did research into clients’ industries and made notes on how to best reach clients’ target audiences.Came up with mood boards for design.Formed the bedrock of my design approach here and honed a 6th sense of what design should look like.The highlight for me was designing event paraphernalia for the biggest chocolate event in Nigeria just 2 months after joining the company.
