About Dola Posh
Dola Posh is a Nigerian photographer and storyteller based in England. In 2018, She relocated from Nigeria to London to further her career and began focusing on portraiture and personal narratives through self-portraiture. Dola draws inspiration from her Yoruba culture, nature, and life journey, which transformed after her pregnancy. The Artichoke Trust and The Gallery org commissioned her work for billboards across the UK. In 2024, She won the Leica Women Foto Project award, and She's also been honoured by Facebook for Creators and Leica's grant for Women in Focus Photo Project 2023. She led an NHS workshop on mental health and postpartum depression and spoke at Ravensbourne University about women's perspectives on photography for Capture One. Dola believes art heals the world and continues to focus on telling stories of everyday life.
