Responsible for CSC's management consulting services delivered to the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention and other Federal health clients. Responsible for business development, client relationship management, and practice development with over $80m in contract wins in 2011. $23m P&L, including responsibility for all CSC work under the CIMS Management Consulting domain. Led overall go-to-market strategy for CSC management consulting in the Federal sector.

As an Executive in Accenture’s Health and Life Sciences practice, Matthew led transformation initiatives that have changed the way major healthcare organizations work. This included leading major efforts to optimize the way a major national health insurer administers its care and disease management program, designing an improved technology platform to allow a large Blue Cross Blue Shield insurer to transform its business model to sell claims processing services in addition to health insurance, and leading a program to create a centralized data warehouse and business intelligence capability for a regional health insurer.

Led efforts to redesign the core IT capabilities of the CDC’s Laboratory Response Network, including responsibility for the development and deployment of LRN Results Messenger. Matthew contributed to the design and implementation of the Public Health Information Network (PHIN) as a messaging standards author and senior consultant to the CDC’s National Center for Public Health Informatics. He served as a Primary Investigator for research in the health information exchange domain, and is recognized as a thought leader in public health as presenter at the 2007 HIMSS conference and author of peer-reviewed research in the public health field.

BroadRiver was a pioneer in the VOIP CLEC (competitive local exchange carrier) market. BroadRiver launched one of the first commercially available VOIP services. Matthew served as a software developer, working on several key e-commerce and web technology projects.

WebMeg.com offered an online storage and business collaboration service aimed at small to medium sized businesses. Matthew was the co-founder, focusing on technology development, working with our partner and a couple of part-time developers to implement an alpha version of the service.

ChoicePoint specializes in background and employment screening. Matthew led the development of the early web prototypes for ChoicePoint's web-based products.
