As an intern at AWUM, I worked at the front desk and responded to crisis calls as well as intake screenings. I organized some of the children's support group as well as observed and organized some of the women's support group.

I participated in a collaboration of organizations such as Farmers Legal Action Group (FLAG), Natural Resources Conservation Service (NRCS), Minnesota Food Association (MFA), etc. to work on the 10th Annual Immigrant and Minority Farmers Conference 2015.My role as the assistant was to prepare agendas for meetings as well as writing meeting minutes, design schedules for interpreters, contribute to outreach calls for farmers, etc.

As a non-licensed teacher, I structured agendas for a group of ~20 children to follow during each time we met up. I planned group activities for the students so that they could be active. I also encouraged students to do their homework when they had nothing else to do. I was able to support them with activities as well as school work.

I facilitated customer service to more than a hundred customers a shift as a cashier. Our mission was to serve the needs of our customers so I positively support customers and coworkers.

As a cashier and server at TCBY, I was able to multitask very well; serving customers and ringing them up.
