I am currently working as Data Specialist at Health Sciences North, Ontario, Canada. I have graduated as Master of Science in eHealth from McMaster University in 2017. My education includes Health Informatics, Public Health, and Computer Science. I am a Computer Programmer/Business Intelligence Developer and Statistician with over 8 years of experiences. Expert in data visualization/analysis by using various Business Intelligence tools, Computer Programming Languages, and Statistical Analytical tools.   • Responsible for scheduling, reviewing, analyzing, and evaluating MediTech and Network business systems and user needs• Analyze, troubleshoot, develop, and maintain the nursing and physician modules of the Meditech electronic health record (EHR), and other software programs that satisfy the needs of system users.• Work in both a self-directed and team environment to review, evaluate, prioritize, and implement requests from user departments.• Maintain a high level of interaction with all clinical areas to continually enhance and improve software and systems in support of patient care.• Create user stories/use cases, process & data flows and scenarios in order to clearly communicate a set of functional requirements.• Lead in program required reporting, including Diabetes Care Services and Regional Bariatric Programs data registry requirements, patient tracker, and monthly and quarterly statistics preparation and submissions• Collaborate with end-users to develop customized data formats that provide information to address specific clinical, financial, and research questions• Act as a primary resource for external data requests and work collaboratively with the appropriate internal operational departments• Provide expertise and support to meet data queries and information validation requirements of external stakeholders (e.g. OBN, HSN, Ontario Health, and the Ministry of Health and Long Term Care (MoHLTC))• Provide leadership regarding data requirements across multiple platforms and databases• Act as a training resource and super-user for multiple database management and reporting software• Act as a data lead for new and existing initiatives• Determine and align improvement projects with HSN’s Strategic Plan; monitor and adjust to achieve goal outcomes• Educate and promote health, safety and wellness in the work place• Represent the department or program on various committees and meetings as required• Perform other duties as required.
