 Performed environmental site assessment of an abandoned gold mine in the Tyndrum area of Scotland to investigate the extent of acid mine drainage and metal leaching in the area.  Collected and analyzed the sediment and water samples for anions and heavy metals (cadmium, arsenic, iron, zinc, lead, etc.) using various high-tech equipment and techniques such as ICP-OES, HF digestion, IC, and XRF. Recommended appropriate remediation solutions for the contaminated sediment and water.
