I learned the basics of CNC programming within a company specializing in aerospace and oil and gas manufacturing (Commecial Components - Later Howco Oilfield Services) specialising in the programming, setting and operating of Mazak machining Centres and Integrex's, and 6 years ago rejoined one of my earlier companies with the realisation that I could bring the knowledge I had learned to the company and make improvements in machining methods, new tooling and programming knowledge, with this I received several promotions that thankfully recognised my abilities, that are now more than being an engineer, but also a management tool. Including new product viability and feasibility, quotations and capacity constraints, production planning and also include HR assistance into disciplinary investigations into possible misconduct and disciplinary procedures.
