About Domagoj Šimag

Hello there! My name is Domagoj and I'm currently working as a R&D Engineer consultant for Qualcomm at Visage Technologies. Day to day tasks consist of tackling computer vision problems in a field of autonomous driving. Additionally, I'm part of a team that specializes in solving Machine Learning problems for object detection. Furthermore, I love robotics and automatization which was my major at university of Zagreb. I've been a mentor to some students and we tackled newest state-of-the-art problems such as Transformers and overall upgrading motion estimation in a field of computer vision. My mother tongue is Python, but I'm also skilled in C and C++. Jokes aside, I'm fluent in English and fairly fluent in German as second languages. Furthermore, I'm currently studying Japanese language. I enjoy challenging myself with new problems and tend to learn and perfect in areas that I find interesting.
