For over 19 years I was a franchised distributor of Pepperidge Farm Cookies/ Biscuit Division in Orlando Florida. You know, there were some days that were hard, but they were always delicious!The distribution industry was a perfect pre-cursor to my Florida Barter Days. As a business owner, I managed a budget, staff, and payroll. I was the Sales Department, Customer Service Department, HR Department, and Holy Moly We Have An Emergency Department. (I am sure that sounds familiar to my fellow small business owners.)It was a great career and I learned a lot about how businesses can thrive when selling products from another company.
