Recruited and managed the volunteers for research and tour guides for walking tours around Preston• Arranged events for recruiting volunteers and spreading the message of the project, encouraged local families to come forward with family stories of their ancestors• Created an online memorial space for the soldiers, with each man getting a full biography, plus photograph where possible• Produced promotional material, as well as advertising the project on social media• Trained the volunteers to a high standard, over several training days
