Working alongside the firm's corporate and commercial team to provide comprehensive legal support to clients at all stages of their business endeavours. I look to build meaningful relationships with clients by prioritizing responsive communication and employing an education-based approach to service. Key Responsibilities include: Corporate Law: advising on all aspects of corporate organization and compliance, ensuring that the the proper foundation exists for any particular business goals. Commercial Law: drafting, reviewing, and negotiating commercial contracts in order to protect the client's interests by identifying and mitigating against risk. Litigation Support: working with with our litigation team on employment and administrative law matters, protecting client's interests prior to and during litigation.

Fall term student at initio, working closely with local startups to provide comprehensive legal support on a range of corporate and commercial matters. My responsibilities included advising clients on intellectual property rights, regulatory compliance, as well as structuring and managing their shares. The clinic's additional focus on education, provided me with opportunities to present to the business community on current legal topics, and participate in startup events like pitch days. This experience deepened my understanding of the unique challenges faced by emerging businesses and reinforced my passion for supporting entrepreneurial endeavours.

Conducted legal research for Dr. Sara Ross re: "Space Debris, Property, and Transnational Law: Navigating Garbage, Sustainability, and Regulation in Space". Conducted an in-depth jurisdictional scan of country policies to space activity regulation and waste management practice. Presented findings and proposed new directions for the research on a weekly basis.

Worked as a summer student, assisting in administrative and general organizational tasks. Also conducted legal research, drafted legal memoranda and documents.

Created, managed, and analyzed a database of past and current Veteran Affairs Canada’s activities to direct policy development and committee agendas. Provided support in daily administrative and organizational tasks including but not limited to constituent correspondence and memos on relevant current events.

Organized and carried out fast-paced, day-to-day operations at a local outdoor adventure company which served up to 300 customers per day. Created new systems to streamline operations and increase customer satisfaction while managing a twenty person staff. Collaborated with local, regional, and national tourism agencies to grow city’s tourism appeal and input.

Garnered a deep understanding and appreciation of the restaurant industry by working in various roles in both service and preparation. Honed communication skills with high-end clientele in a traditional fine-dining setting. Emerged as a team-leader trusted with extra responsibilities including but not limited to additional duties and handling service of VIPs.
