I am a senior professional specialising in employment law. I have nearly 25 years’ experience in advising my employer clients on all aspects of contentious and non-contentious employment law matters in a variety of sectors, including Retail, Financial Services, Diversified Industrials and Transport.I have particular expertise in support on employee relations matters, helping businesses manage complex individual and collective employment matters in both unionised and non-unionised workplaces, including redundancy, TUPE, discipline and grievance matters, pay negotiations (including the operation of the National Minimum Wage).I also advise on the employment related aspects of data protection, including managing data subject access requests (DSARs) under the UK GDPR, and in particular where this is linked to ongoing or threatened employment litigation.I have a demonstrable track record in the innovative use of technology to drive efficiencies in the provision both of the legal services that I provide but also in the provision of valuable and real time management information to the clients that I work with to enable them to target interventions and training where it will have the most effect.I regularly speak at both public and internal training events on the full range of employment law matters.
