Assistant Vice President - Automation Engineer
Responsible for parsing feedback from FINRA CAT for over 1 billion records a day and automating the repairs and resubmission of inaccurate reporting data on a T+3 basis. Additionally we would store and generate analytics of these metrics to present to business and tech leaders. Additionally was the scrum master for two agile teams (the QA Automation team and the Data Management team).The automation software exponentially sped up the time of repairs which had been done completely manually before. This assisted in ensuring all repairs met the strict T+3 SLA enforced from our regulators.

We were responsible for creating tools to auto-detect CAT reporting errors in test cases from our trading systems.These tools helped reduced the release cycle from 1-2 months to 1-2 weeks. The turn around time for trading systems to release new features and bug fixes into production was improved significantly, while also providing more precise testing versus the manual process which had been in place before.
