Junior Biologist
Current Conduct targeted surveys for Species at Risk in adherence to established provincial standards. Targetted species include but are not limited to Birds, Bats, Turtles, Fish Communities Habitat assessments for Turtles, Bats, Fish Communities Meticulously entered data (i.e. scan sheets, photos, raw data) and conform to an established standard nomenclature and organization Safely operate motorized vehicles and hike through treacherous terrain to access the study area and safely conduct surveys Complete desktop screenings for occurrence potential of species at risk within the study area Detailed documentation of survey conditions and identification of species Assist with Proponent led Permit compliance Develop a working process for cataloguing and mapping turtle exclusion fence defects Safely conduct surveys and operate vehicles on controlled and active mine sites Assist in writing the final report and data analysis Assist with cost estimates and proposal writing
