About Domenic G.

I have spent nearly two decades working in government relations and public policy for organizations such as the U.S. Chamber of Commerce, Democrats for Education Reform, AdvanceCTE, and Project Lead The Way.I'm proud to have worked on both sides of the aisle and in a non-partisan capacity throughout my career. Throughout my career, I've focused on developing highly-focused strategies that employ my wide array of skills in creative ways to maximize efficiency. My work has resulted in billions of dollars in increased education funding nationwide and substantial policy changes federally and across 26 states. My work has achieved national attention numerous times. For example, the STEM-TEK (STEM Education Transforming Eastern Kentucky) program that I designed was recognized as a promising practice by the Clinton Global Initiative in 2015 and the U.S. Chamber of Commerce's Leaders & Laggards series of report cards. In 2018, I started an advocacy and activist organization around the concept of rural and small-town rights, called The Flyover Project. It was designed to pursue special projects central to securing full participation in society for rural Americans. I organized a national board of directors, but our fundraising efforts were waylaid by the onset of Covid.
