Being a Voice Talent / Voice Actor has been an amazing journey that I've been on for more than half my life. There are so many talented creatives to work with and such wonderful projects that I get to lend my voice to. What a great adventure!🙂

I've taught in my classroom at the college level for nearly 23 years however I now offer my Voiceover Coaching Services online. I hosted my first class in July 2020 and I am grateful that it's been so enjoyable and well-received. I play guitar and sing in the cover band Spoken Four which at its height performed 125+ gigs annually. I can still remember my grade school days when I fantasized about being a successful guitarist. To be able to make a living as a working musician is a dream come true.

It's been an honor to have led this band since day one for over 14 years. In this time I have held multiple chairs as guitarist, bassist as well as lead singer. I have shared the stage with some of the finest musicians and have proudly worked with over 1,250 satisfied wedding and private event clients.

It gives me great pride to have been an Instructor in the Radio / Communications Department teaching Radio Production I, II and III as well as an On The Air: Be a Radio Host Class. In these past two plus decades I have taught over 50 semesters of production courses alone and the amazing thing is that I'm always learning something new. I truly love teaching, which came as a surprise to me as a young man in my 20s. It is an honor to be / to have been a positive influence in the lives of hundreds if not thousands of students. WNUA-FMI hosted my own regular Sunday Afternoon air shift. I've always considered myself more of a behind-the-scenes person but I've learned that being the one on the mic can also be enjoyable and rewarding.

WNUA-FM/The Smooth Jazz NetworkA select few can say that they had the honor of working alongside the late award-winning pianist and jazz legend Ramsey Lewis. My responsibilities included the editing of pre-recorded elements as well as general show production. Our flagship station was WNUA-FM, Chicago but we were on in 25 other cities.

WNUA-FMMy responsibilities encompassed the writing, producing and recording of production elements pertaining to The Station. I'm not ashamed to admit that I'm a bit of a nerd when it comes to production work as it appeals to my perfectionist nature. I worked alongside Production Director Bill Cochran, from whom I learned so much. I am proud to consider him a dear friend.

WNUA-FMFor nearly a decade I was the primary board-op as the show broadcasted live from various locations. Running tech for this show always kept me on my toes and I loved every minute of it. I'm proud to admit that not once did I ever need coffee to perform this job although my after work Sunday afternoon naps were legendary.
