Co-lead developer of In-Vessel Analysis Code (IVAC) for determining plant specific in-vessel fiber limits during emergency core cooling system (ECCS) recirculation.Co-managed and/or aided in development of user interface (UI), geometric shadowing, insulation/coatings destruction, degasification, bed compression, and chemical precipitate generation routines in Containment Accident Stochastic Analysis GSI Resolution AND Evaluation (CASA Grande) software under the direction of Dr. Bruce Letellier and Dr. Jeremy Tejada.Created probabilistic chemical constituent concentration code for determining chemical constituent concentrations during loss of coolant accidents (LOCA) considering individual sources of coolant, and injection amounts under the direction of Dr. Janet Leavitt.Created probabilistic water volume and level analysis code for determining time dependent containment water volume and level following a LOCA, considering uncertainty in injection, equipment/sensors, operator actions, and plant tank water volume data.Drafted numerous Deterministic and Risk-Informed calculations to support GSI-191 resolution at multiple US PWR Utilities.Assisted in USNRC regulatory communications for multiple PWR and BWR power plants including: drafting of request for additional information (RAI) responses, preparation/presentation of technical methodologies, and assistance in licensing document preparation.
