I am an Account Executive Associate at NewDay USA in West Palm Beach, FL, where I assist veterans in securing financial solutions tailored to their unique needs. I thrive in the fast-paced, competitive culture at NewDay, which pushes me to exceed personal and team goals. Helping veterans who have given so much is something I’m deeply passionate about. In this role, I have developed expertise in sales and client relations, ensuring veterans receive the best service and support possible.Before joining NewDay, I majored in Management at West Virginia University’s John Chambers College of Business and Economics. During my time at WVU, I was actively involved in several campus and city organizations. I was a member of the WVU Powerlifting Club, where I pursued my passion for strength training. I also joined the WVU Japanese Club to deepen my interest in Japanese culture and language, and I contributed to community service and philanthropy through 1890 Philanthropy Club, LLC. I was honored to be invited into the Phi Sigma Theta National Honor Society and received the Scholarship of Distinction Level 1 and the College of Business and Economics Dean’s Scholarship Level 1.My passion for learning about different cultures began in middle school with an African dance class, sparking my curiosity about global traditions. In high school, I was president of the International Club, leading initiatives that promoted education about countries through their cuisines, music, and arts. I continued this passion in college, studying Japanese and participating in the Japanese Club.In the summer of 2022, I had the invaluable experience of shadowing doctors and physician assistants at Trinity Medical Care and Piedmont Plastic & Oral Surgery in Salisbury, NC. This opportunity allowed me to observe the complexities of the medical industry while learning about business management. I also worked part-time in janitorial services at the Forum of Salisbury and interned there under the mentorship of Rijkent Zwaan. Volunteering for Meals on Wheels of Rowan, Inc. strengthened my communication skills, time management, and efficiency.I was born in Huntington, WV, and grew up in Salisbury, NC. My parents, Paul and Wendy Capito, have had a significant influence on my career aspirations; my father is a physician, and my mother is a retired nurse. I am the youngest of five siblings, and my oldest sister is the CEO and Co-Founder of GenRait, Inc. Growing up, I played various sports and contributed to my community through service and club involvement.
