My role was Operations Director at Emeg Group, who are an UK and International Rail focused Business that operate throughout the UK , Middle East and Internationally.I was onboarded to join the 30 year old long-standing business by its founder to lead the UK Group to enable existing staff to relocate to expand into Middle Eastern territories. I work alongside the Board to design, plan and develop a business and digital transformation adoption strategy across the Group, soliciting employee buy-in and understanding issues to embed rapid resolutions to ensure efficiencies and productivity in its day-to-day operations. • Direct and develop core business functions and teams encompassing Design, Manufacturing, Major Projects, Construction and Maintenance; transforming operations and streamlining headcount to execute cohesive resources to meet business goals. • Act as company representative at national and international industry events, showcasing the vast capabilities throughout the UK and the Middle East and building solid commercially shared relationships with major players. • Transformed a developing business function by gaining support from internal teams and implementing an enhanced company vision, resulting in significant multi-million pound growth in turnover and order book revenue. • Collaborated and supported the Small Works, Maintenance and Special Projects teams, showcasing knowledge sharing to obtain consistent projects. • As part of the international business development approach, led the company to refocus on all markets, generating opportunities in untapped demographics aswell as growing our already vast and robust client base in the UK

I began my time at TClarke as a Modern Apprentice, being mentored by the company directors/leadership team to attain the roles of Project Manager, Contracts Manager and, latterly, Technical Director.• Led the business from £500k to £multi-million revenue with YoY profit margin increases, managing Engineers, Supervisors and Department Heads. • Undertook control of a new business vertical and revenue stream for small works, facilities and maintenance in 2015 as part of a competitor disruption, initially utilising in-house resources and successfully growing to a standalone unit of 62 in-house Engineers, Project and Admin staff. Increasing turnover >£mm on callouts, maintenance, small works, fit-outs and large M&E upgrades and installs.• In response to the Covid-19 pandemic, set up Testing Response a >700 sites throughout the UK, Wales and Scotland during challenging and uncertain market conditions, rolling out sites at an exceptional pace without quality compromises to ensure business cash flow and revenue.• Fostered relationships with public and private sector organisations to obtain direct or sub-contracted supplier contracts via CBRE, Atalian, Servest, ISS and Bellrock for clients including Nuffield Health, Vitality, Virgin Health Care, Bupa Dental, Care UK, Bupa Care Homes BT, Rolls Royce, GE, Tarmac, Post Office, Amazon, Nike, The AA, RAC, Alstom, Environment Agency, HMRC, Aldi, Wren Kitchens and SACO.
